The Travel Passenger Contract between you and Chilean Bucket List Travel Co. is subject to and governed by Chilean law in Chile (and no other).
Chilean Bucket List Travel Co. As your Travel Manager will organize your trip and will travel with you during the trip. This means we will organize for your convenience all internal air reservations, accommodations, transportation, luggage custody and entrance to tourist attractions announced in our itinerary. We will accompany you during your activities or arrange for a guide if we can not be present.

Booking and payments.
- All payments are made in full at the time of booking.
- All payments must be made at least 90 days before arriving in Chile.
- Patagonia and Easter Island trips may require a longer reservation time depending on the season.
- After 30 days the 100% of the cost of the trip is non-refundable.
- Once you book your trip is guaranteed.
- We charge a 3% fee for online credit/debit cards and checking accounts transactions.
- All trip costs are shown in USD.
- If you pay online your credit card company will determine the actual exchange rate.
- Booking with exceptional dates may be subject to different values.
- All flights purchased in addition to or in conjunction with any package must be paid in full at the time of booking and are non-refundable.
Cancellations and refunds.
- All cancellations have a non-refundable charge of US $150 per person.
- Some refunds are subject to internal policies of hotels, airlines and tour guides in Chile. Therefore, we can not guarantee 100% of your refund in all cases.
- We ALWAYS will manage the way to get the 100% of your money refund.
- 30 days before arrival to Chile, the 100% of the cost of the trip is non-refundable.
Prices, surcharges and taxes.
- Hotel charges in Chile are not subject to VAT charges (19%), when paid in US dollars by non-Chileans present in Chile on a tourist visa. All tourists are given PDI (Chilean Immigration Police) documentation upon entry to Chile, which can be used as proof of tourist status. We recommend keeping this safe as it is a small, but valuable document.
- Chilean and non-Chilean hotel guests possessing Chilean residency will be subject to VAT charges, charged at 19% in the national currency.
- As a travel agency we commit to ALWAYS manage market prices, fair and non-abusive charges.
Liability limitations.
- We are not responsible for unexpected changes, delays, or cancelations by local airlines or transportation to or from any destination.
- Our responsibility regarding your trip is strictly limited.
- We are not responsible for your death, illness, or injury. We are not responsible for any lost or stolen baggage or property.
- We do not warranty the safety, insurance or suitability of any of our suppliers, meaning hostels, airlines, travel agencies, or other companies that will supply us with services while in Chile.
- The suppliers are independent contractors and I do not control or supervise their services.
- We are not liable for any loss, damage, death, or inconvenience produced by actions of our suppliers.
- This includes negligent or willful acts by the suppliers or third parties.
- We are not responsible for any trip disruptions due to Acts of God, civil commotions, labor issues, or other potential sources of instability.
Passport, visas, documents.
- The traveler must carry a valid passport, visas, permits and certificates for the countries which the traveler will visit during the trip.
- Traveler passport’s must be valid for 6 months beyond the duration of the trip and accepts responsibility to ensure the possession of the correct visas, permits and certificates for the trip.
- Chilean Bucket List Travel Co. is not responsible if you are refused entry to a country due to incorrect passport, visa or other travel documentation.
Age requirements.
- Travelers under 18 years old must always be accompanied by an adult.
- One adult my accompany up 2 minors.
- Minimum age for minors traveling is 12 years old.
Local laws.
- All participants in Packages operated by Chilean Bucket List Travel Co. and our trusted partners are expected to obey the laws and regulations of the countries visited.
Airfares.
- Initially Chilean Bucket List does not include international and national flights in its regular packages.
- Chilean Bucket List ALWAYS can manage the purchase of flight tickets without extra charge, coordinating the trip itinerary with the date/time of the flights.
- The reason why we do not include flights in our packages is because many of our clients have airline miles, or seasonal airfares.
Lodging.
- Chilean Bucket List Travel Co. works as a partnership with the different hotels and accommodations. We keep with same market rates to be competitive and loyal to our customers.
- All lodging arrangements are based on double bedrooms.
- For single travelers the charge per room may be change.
- Costs will vary within the limits established with hotels, accommodations and tour guides.
Medical.
- All tourist places and sights in Chile has hospitals, medical centers and first aid.
- All companies and tour guides in Chile have a first aid kit.
Travel Insurance.
- You acknowledge that we are not a medical provider.
- You acknowledge that we have recommended you to purchase Travel Insurance which will assist you with both medical care and travel protection.
- You agree to assume responsibility for your own safety and you are responsible for any loss of personal property and baggage.
- We recommend you not to pack any medicines and valuables in baggage or suitcases handled by third parties.

Health and capabilities.
- All travelers must check with their medical physician regarding their fitness and any medication they may need.
- We may be traveling up to 12,000 feet depending on the tour. Every tour entails some degree of walking/hiking up and down at high elevations.
Travel changes.
- Changes in the itinerary may be necessary if forced by circumstances.
- We may also have to substitute accommodations if needed.
- We are not liable for these changes.
- Any substitutions would be for similar to those in the itinerary.
